Well I'm back folks. It's been an insane and diverse few weeks and a time that I have enjoyed immensely.
I have visited the sedate hilltop villages of Provence and the salt-flats of the Camargue; I have enjoyed the place in Yorkshire where I grew up and had time with friends and family; I have motored half way across Portugal in a vintage 1957 Mercedes 300sl; and I have also been up at 5am every morning last week trying to spot tigers in Tadoba National Park back here in Maharashtra. Varied or what!? I think I need a holiday!
But where to start now?
Whilst I collect my thoughts and prepare the next set of blogs, I will leave you with a picture of what greeted me in Mumbai upon my return - hot, humid and muggy - the skyline as seen from the Sealink. This is exactly as I photographed it this morning. Quite scary to think about what may be going into our lungs as we traverse the city!
Please come back soon to see pictures of that beautiful Mercedes and that elusive tiger....
Welcome back! And looking forward to seeing pictures of your travels.Did you spot a tiger? We have been to Nagarhole and Rantambhore - nothing.Even the lions in Gujarat failed us.But it was great to go and see the nature in the early mornings..Will be off to Mumbai in 2 weeks to travel to Chotta Udaipur ,Maheswar and Ellora / Ajanta.Am very much looking forward!
